PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE A wiser sentiment widely believed by ALL, yet practiced with restraint by SOME. At Spectra our intrinsic belief is that Clients and Partners are synonymous. THEREFORE Spectra, as a Partner, continued pursuit is that a better product be dispatched or returned for service. We utilize various inspection techniques to detect flaws or defects that could otherwise jeopardize efficacious operations by our Clients or the end users. These techniques employed are selected based on the following criteria- Material type; Configuration; Code requirements; Expected flaw orientation and Client request. Where more than one technique is recommended, such will be employed in tandem to be complimentary. Current technology allows for accurate dispositioning of flaws, namely- Length, depth, orientation, type (characteristic) and location. Some of these techniques are listed under our core services.
