Sponsity

Sponsity is addressing unsustainable capitalism. Profit is the motivation for commerce in capitalism. The problem with capitalism is that distribution is skewed to the rich who run the system. We need to redistribute more fairly without removing the motivation. To replace a redundant process called 'unsustainable capitalism' we introduce a model formulated by Sponsity to benefit our children, our future and you! Sponsity is a social enterprise building a platform to generate profit from the sales of eco-friendly and people-friendly product and services. Nothing unusual about that! But call our profits - Surplus. Instead of going into the pockets of a small group of shareholders, our Surplus is redistributed through society under a circular system that aligns with today’s needs. Using the same laws and processes that commerce is built upon today – we have made a few tweaks to obtain a different outcome. What we historically call ‘profit’ is put to better use. Sponsity's Surplus is shared through various pathways amongst its stakeholders, contributors, conscientious individuals, the social enterprise structures it finances, kindred communities, its customers and you! And the way this is done, the systems and processes that make this possible, it what sets Sponsity apart. We'll soon release a video to show - in layman's terms - exactly how its economic model works and how the world can look in 5-10 years. Once we have demonstrated how different that scenario can be (when Sponsity profits are put back into circulation to the many instead of the few) we have converted the chain of supply and demand into an economic process that works for all people. Being part of the people's platform in a virtuous cycle of commerce is how we replace a now redundant system.
