Spring River School Waldorf-Inspired • Outdoor-Based • Community-Grown Spring River is a nonprofit, Waldorf-inspired educational community rooted in Jacksonville, Florida. We serve children and families through a range of holistic, developmentally aligned programs that honor the whole child—head, heart, and hands. Our school offers: – A four-day K–8 all-outdoor academic program – A two-day Waldorf-inspired homeschool enrichment program – A forest immersion program – A parent-child program – An anthroposophical study group and adult enrichment – A growing high school initiative and new pilot programs At the heart of Spring River is a deep commitment to nurturing each child’s unfolding individuality in relationship with the earth, the seasons, and one another. We draw from the principles of anthroposophy, the arts, and nature-based learning to foster capable, compassionate, and creative human beings. We are a community-led initiative seeking to root deeply and rise boldly—with plans underway to build a permanent home for our children and programs.
