More recently, we at Steak Out Catering have extended our service to include the provision of hot school meals to national schools within our locality. We cook our meals fresh each morning from our HSE certified, commercial kitchen on the outskirts of Knock village. We cook all our meals from scratch, using our in-house made sauces (zero added salt, sugar or preservatives & gluten free). Where possible, we use local suppliers including local butchers for our locally sourced Irish beef. Our innovative pick and mix style menu allows children to "build their own meal", ensuring each child receives a personalised meal each day. Sustainability plays a huge part in our ethos and we aim to minimise/eliminate single use packaging from our waste stream. We do this by using re-usable lunch containers and encouraging children to bring their own cutlery from home.
