Stephenson Art

Stephenson art, an independent art consultancy, founded by Matthew Stephenson in 2016. Matthew is a specialist in 20th-century and contemporary art, with a particular interest in the art of Central and Eastern Europe. He is the International representative for The Archipenko Foundation and Estate, promoting the work and legacy of sculptor Alexander Archipenko. Matthew previously worked at both Christie’s and Pace Gallery, where he held senior positions, including Christie’s Managing Director, Russia & CIS; and Christie’s Client Strategy Director, Europe, Middle East, Russia and India (EMERI) and International Senior Director at Pace Gallery. Matthew is an expert advisor to the Arts Council, England and to the Czech Embassy in the UK.
