Suburban Turban

Suburban Turban is a dedicated online headwear service for women experiencing significant hair loss. We have been online since 2007 and now retail via the Internet in 12 countries overseas. Our brief is simple - to make stylish and attractive headwear, to increase women’s self confidence at what is often a traumatic time. Our designs make any adaptation for hair loss ‘invisible’ and we develop normal ‘everyday’ styles that offer complete and secure coverage. We size all our headwear, and grade our patterns/fabrics for comfortable extended wear. Testimonial -'I have just started chemotherapy, and like many women, a major concern was loss of hair. I have spent many hours on the internet looking for something to maintain my confidence,(people often only see your symptoms and forget you are still the same person). You offer a modern, stylish and elegant choice and I know I will feel comfortable and confident. You have some pretty cool hats that I know I will wear when the current situation is over…’ R - Norway We work with the NHS, private hospital networks – BMI, Spire and many major UK charities – Maggie’s Centres, Breast Cancer Care - HeadStrong service, Macmillan. There are also many long term hair loss charities that we work with and donate to specifically NAAF,(USA). We have also worked with Alopecia Org.UK and the children’s Alopecia charity BeBoldOrg. We have just relaunched the online store as a.com (July 2016), with multiple currencies to expand our e:commerce functionality.
