Sunflower Trust

Sunflower Trust is an Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to enhancing the education of vulnerable children throughout Kibera. Through leveraging the resources of high-performing private institutions, Sunflower provides supplemental programs that invests in girl’s education and leadership and allows students to develop their skills for them to succeed in their future. Sunflower Trust challenges the regular school system which dictates who does and doesn’t deserve quality education by providing the correct resources for students who fall behind in their classes. We believe that every child deserves quality education no matter what socio-economic standing they are in and fight for institutional and policy change to create a more equitable environment.
