Support Genie

Support Genie was founded in 2020 by Thi Nhu-Y Nguyen with the goal of providing high quality, personalised care to persons living with a disability. Support Genie is family-owned business where participants and their families are treated as part of ours. Over the last 15 years, Thi Nhu-Y worked in health care as a registered nurse. While working as a practice nurse in general practice, she has seen firsthand the physical and mental health complications that come about when persons needing support and their families are not appropriately care for and supported while at home. Support Genie was founded to support these persons and to assist with the ongoing challenges that family members caring for loved one’s face daily. Support Genie aims to support the spectrum of persons living at home from children with special needs through to older persons living with the challenges of age. The team at Support Genie stand by our moto: “Your home care wishes - Granted!”. Thi Nhu-Y and her team will help you fast track your application for NDIS funding. We will then prioritise and design individualised support services according to you and family’s needs, to achieve your life’s goals. Support Genie has two main goals: • Provision of high-quality individualised supports that assist participants maximise their NDIS funding to “live a normal life” actively in their chosen community • To support the family of our participants to ensure that they retain the energy to continue in their caring roles Support Genie recruits and trains quality staff to ensure the designed supports are implemented seamlessly and effectively. Our in-home support services include support coordination, personal care, nursing care, wellness support, skill development, community transportation, shopping, and meal preparations.
