Susanna Forrest Editorial Services

I have supported scholars and writers editorially in multiple disciplines through the writing of books, chapters, papers, and funding applications. I often work with people who do not have English as a first language, always giving constructive feedback and clear advice with the goal of helping the author improve their own work. I designed and ran a workshop at the University of Potsdam to train academics to produce more accessible prose. I have also designed and taught nonfiction courses and workshops for a multilingual crew of writers of all ages, skill levels, and nationalities for The Reader Berlin since 2016. In recent years I've specialised in coaching authors of heavily researched books who need help both seeing "the bigger picture" and not losing sight of a key message as their material becomes more complex. This coaching and editing parallels the support many academics need to win prestigious grants.
