Sustain Collaborative

At Sustain Collaborative, our mission is to support sustained, effective practices that promote equitable outcomes for students and educators through collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and resource sharing. A sustained practice is implemented consistently and comprehensively over time. Sustained effective practices maximize education outcomes. Yet, research is clear that practices are not regularly sustained in schools, wasting resources and limiting student gains. By deliberately supporting sustainment of effective practices, schools can capitalize on current efforts, increase efficiency, and improve outcomes. Dr. Lisa Sanetti (University of Connecticut) and Dr. Melissa Collier-Meek (University of Massachusetts Boston) co-founded the Sustain Collaborative to bring together like-minded researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to accelerate research on implementation in schools, as well as share knowledge and resources related to sustained, effective, equitable, and scalable practices in schools with policy makers, practitioners, and researchers.”
