Tail-f, a Cisco Company, is a pioneer in enabling and applying data model driven network programmability. The fundamental building blocks for automation are programmable network elements based upon open standards based protocols and data models. Tail-f's ConfD solution leverages the power of the IETF NETCONF and YANG open standards to provide a solution for quickly producing programmable physical and virtual network elements. ConfD is a YANG data model driven management plane framework which provides NETCONF, RESTCONF, CLI, SNMP, and Web API support as well as a full set of management plane services.
