At TALK, we are a dedicated speech-language pathology practice that specializes in providing comprehensive services to support children's communication development. We offer screenings, evaluations, and therapy for a range of speech and language needs, ensuring that every child can unlock their full potential. Our services encompass: Articulation Disorder: We address speech sound errors and pronunciation challenges to enhance clarity and communication. Apraxia: Our expert therapists assist children in overcoming motor planning difficulties to improve their speech. Pre-literacy Development and Phonological Awareness Skills: We foster the essential building blocks of reading and writing. Autism Spectrum: Tailored therapy and support for individuals on the autism spectrum to enhance communication skills. Receptive and Expressive Language Delays: We focus on understanding and expression, bridging gaps in comprehension and communication. Fluency (Stuttering): Our therapists work with children to promote fluent speech. Central Auditory Processing Disorders: Specialized strategies for those with auditory processing challenges. Pragmatic (Social) Language Weaknesses: Developing social communication skills to succeed in interpersonal interactions. TALK offers our speech and language therapy services at various convenient locations, including preschools, private schools, daycares, and clinic facilities in Richmond and Charlottesville. In addition to speech-language services, we also provide occupational therapy in both public and private schools. We further offer contractual services to public schools and collaborate with CSA to ensure comprehensive support for our communities.
