Teach One Feed One

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Teach one Feed one was established on June 3rd 2018 (reference photo). The idea started when Founder/President Darnell Hinton who is in recovery himself was sitting in group at one of his outpatient sessions. When asked by his counselor what he was going to do this weekend Darnell replied “I’m going to go to Kensington and feed the homeless”. With zero idea of how anything would materalize Darnell took a leap of faith and trusted that everything would work out. That week Darnell and the team were able to raise 42 dollars and purchase 8 boxes of pizza. Today, we are officially a nonprofit organization. We are also 501 (c)(3) pending and have since grown exponentially in notoriety, size and other services that we offer. Teach one Feed one is an organization driven by innovative thinking, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
