The Azmat A. Assur Foundation is a beacon of hope and opportunity, inspired by the indomitable spirit and legacy of our benefactor, Azmat Assur. His vision, born from a lifetime of entrepreneurial endeavor in Ponce, Puerto Rico, fuels our commitment to empower the next generation of innovators, thinkers, and leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Our mission is to grow STEM Education on the island via scholarship and grants for individuals looking to improve Puerto Rico. We plan to award annual grants and scholarships, offering opportunities that may otherwise have remained beyond reach. By doing so, we aim to drive positive change and foster the culture of lifelong learning, innovation, and resilience that Mr. Assur embodied.
