The Behavioral Advantage, LLC is a behavioral consulting company that focuses on the child and the whole family. Comprehensive behavioral consultation is provided to families of children and adolescents at-risk and/or with special needs to develop a successful behavioral plan that can be implemented in and outside the home. The Behavioral Advantage, LLC is a private behaviotal consulting practice based in McKinney, Texas. The Behavioral Advantage was founded by Dr. Lori L. Ellis who has extensive professional experience working with families with children and adolescents at-risk and/or with special needs. Dr. Ellis holds a doctoral degree in special education with emphasis in emotional and behavioral disorders. In addition to her educational experience she is an experienced professional trainer. This is a company committed to developing effective behavioral plans for families that addresses the causes(s) of problematic behavior(s). Consulation consists of: a) interviewing the family unit to obtain an understanding of problematic behavior(s); b) developing a customized behavioral plan for the family unit to be implemented in and outside the home; c) evaluation of behavioral plan after implementation; d) modification of behavioral plan, if needed and; e) follow-up training for family unit.
