The Bylund Clinic

Dr. James Bylund, Licensed Educational Psychologist works with families and schools to better understand and address students' unique learning needs. Dr. Bylund provides independent psychological and educational evaluations to identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses, learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD), executive dysfunction, autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbance, and special education eligibility. In addition to conducting evaluations, Dr. Bylund works one-on-one with students using solution-focused counseling, motivational interviewing, mediated learning (thinking skill development), and academic interventions. He provides consultation to parents regarding their child's learning needs, intervention strategies, and special education law.
