The Disc Initiatives
The DISC Initiatives is a renaissance of Donyo community in collaboration with Charles Ochieng founded in the year 2008 as a youth self-help project. Its establishment is founded on the basis of responding to the community and the youths un- employment culture. The DISC Initiatives has slowly developed and evolved in search of community empowerment and transformation in Donyo and other neighboring communities with strategic partnerships with other organizations that shares the visions and aspirations of the organization. PROGRAM GOAL: towards discovering the potential within thus discouraging hopelessness in our community by using Sports, Counseling, Education, community outreach and micro- loan program as tools for community empowerment
