The Dough began with one unforgettable bite of sourdough and a shared love for craft, quality, and real food. What started as Erin’s personal journey into the art of natural fermentation has grown into a small but passionate business dedicated to honest, handcrafted bread, and to teaching others how to make it. We believe in simplicity: stone-ground flour, water, salt, time… and the skill to bring it all together. Every loaf we bake is naturally fermented, additive-free, and made with patience and intention. Alongside our loaves, we offer hands-on sourdough classes designed to help beginners and home bakers build confidence, understand fermentation, and create bread that’s both nutritious and full of character. Co-founded by Erin and Tyler Hunter, The Dough is built on craftsmanship, community, and a commitment to keeping real sourdough alive and accessible.
