The Herd Institute

The HERD Institute® offers training and certifications in the art of equine-facilitated psychotherapy and learning (EFPL). Founded on experiential learning principles and academic excellence, our training is offered with CE approval by the National Board for Certified Counselors*(NBCC), and is pending CEU approval by the American Psychological Association (APA). We also offer a range of workshops and retreats aimed for personal and professional development. Whether you want to take some time to explore your own process, or add to your skill set, the HERD Institute® can support you on your journey.*The HERD Institute®, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.
