The Memory Box Foundation

The Memory Box Foundation is a charitable incorporated organisation registered in December 2021. The objects of the CIO are for the public benefit of persons located in the UK, but primarily in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, to advance the education and assist in the relief and improvement of health of those with mental health issues, dementia, or experiencing isolation or loneliness, by helping to provide reminiscence therapy associated activities with a view to improving their conditions of life, in particular, but without limitation, by: a) the provision of courses, activities, and projects utilising historical and heritage related themes for people living with mental health issues, dementia, or experiencing isolation or loneliness. b) to advance education for young people in particular by helping them to learn from older people and develop new skills c) to advance the education and training of carers who work with older people and/or those with mental health issues, dementia, in particular by providing training on reminiscence therapy as referred to in (a) and (b).
