We are The People Speak - a dynamic collective of artists and creative communicators based in Tower Hamlets, London. We design innovative formats, immersive experiences, and skills development programmes that tackle social polarisation and ignite authentic community engagement. Turning Conversation into Creative Collaboration We see conversation as a creative force for generating fresh ideas and genuine public dialogue. Our work connects arts organisations, museums, communities, and businesses to put creativity at the heart of shared decision-making. Talkaoke: our iconic talk show Talkaoke is a pop-up talk show like no other. With a host at the centre of a glowing round table and participants driving the agenda, Talkaoke transforms any space into a vibrant hub of spontaneous discussion. Non-hierarchical and unexpected, it bridges the gap between individual voices, turning strangers into collaborators and surfacing perspectives that traditional consultation methods overlook. Bespoke Engagement Formats We design interactive experiences tailored to each community. Our formats include "Who Wants to Be?","The Slice is Right", community-driven art schools,"Quacktion Time"(Question Time with animal masks), and "Heal the Net"(a collective internet-cleansing ritual), ensuring every project creates space for transformative dialogue.
