Community Focus Inclusive Arts
Community Focus Inclusive Arts is an Arts Centre for adults and children with disabilities. We run an exciting selection of creative and wellbeing courses and workshops for students with disabilities, autism and anyone who feels they may need extra support. We are based in Friern Barnet, North London but our new online zoom classes mean we are capable of reaching you anywhere in the world! Our tutors are all working artists who specialise in specific art forms and they bring all their skills and experience to our classes. The tutors design and deliver creative lessons so our students can fulfil their full potential, learn new skills, gain a sense of achievement and socialise in a safe, friendly environment. Our accessible studios are based in the beautiful Friary Park where we run our three main programmes, Short Breaks, 10 - 18 years Articulate Futures, 16 - 25 years In-House, 18 years and above However during the pandemic most of our classes are now online. Arts at Home is a project that has been designed for adults with disabilities, so they can continue their learning at home. So you can join in our classes live at home and receive a weekly art pack to accompany your session. We are also highly experienced and expert in managing outreach programs in schools, hospitals, nursing homes, colleges and a wide range of community groups. We are very proud of our friendly, creative welcoming arts community and have been described as a “life line” by many of our students. De La Warr Pavilion
De La Warr Pavilion (DLWP) is a pioneering multi-arts centre at the heart of our community in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex since 1935. Last year, we welcomed 372,500 people through our doors to enjoy a broad live music offer, world-class exhibitions and inspiring, free-to-access arts activities for all ages. Our goal is to create a thriving cultural hub in Bexhill-on-Sea, serving local and national/international audiences. Our mission is to put artists and audiences at the centre of what we do to produce innovative cultural programmes; accessible and relevant to all. As a multi-disciplinary organisation opening our doors 364 days a year, we serve many different people from toddlers to those aged 80+ and have various ways to engage our diverse communities - whether they are buying a ticket, participating in an event, browsing an exhibition, hiring a space or having a cup of coffee. DLWP includes two gallery spaces, an auditorium, a studio, a first-floor Café Bar with sea views, and a shop/box office. We know culture has the power to regenerate places and communities. We design ambitious programmes with an inclusive and collaborative approach using art and culture as tools to transform communities, access creativity and develop skills and opportunities. All these programmes are underpinned by our modernist, progressive origins and organisation values - to be bold and inclusive, working with care and compassion to create a healthy and happy community. We regularly hire our facilities to local and national organisations, who often enjoy drinks receptions in our rooftop foyer, overlooking the sea, as well as away day and annual hires for award ceremonies, Christmas parties and conferences. DLWP is not just a building; it’s a cultural, historical treasure and social hub at the heart of its community. Its sleek, innovative design and rich heritage make it a symbol of architectural ingenuity and a focal point for art and culture in East Sussex.

Jorge Welsh Works of Art was founded by Jorge Welsh and Luísa Vinhais. Our expertise is in Chinese export porcelain and cross-cultural works of art from Africa, India, China and Japan. Rowan
Rowan is a vibrant, independent registered charity providing an arts centre and forest school for adults with learning disabilities living in Cambridgeshire and the adjoining counties. Since 1984 we have provided a safe, creative, and enriching environment where the arts are used as a tool to bring people together and tackle social exclusion. We develop the skills and potential of our students while improving their happiness, health and wellbeing. We also deliver much needed respite to families and carers. Rowan provides a range of creative workshops in woodwork, ceramics, textiles, print, mixed media. drama and music. We also run a forest school. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, over 50 weeks of the year. We arrange regular trips out to theatres, museums and exhibitions to explore art and culture further. We have a strong social enterprise ethos and accept both large and small-scale commissions from individuals and organisations. We also have an online shop of artworks produced by our student artists. Rowan runs a range of community art classes during the evenings and weekends and you can also hire our venue outside our creative workshop hours. The Poetry Society
The Poetry Society was founded in 1909 to promote a “more general recognition and appreciation of poetry”. Since then, it has grown into one of Britain’s most dynamic arts organisations, representing British poetry both nationally and internationally. With innovative education and commissioning programmes and a packed calendar of performances, readings and competitions, the Poetry Society champions poetry for all ages. It publishes the magazine The Poetry Review, and the members’ newspaper, Poetry News. It runs the National Poetry Competition, the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award and Young Poets Network. Tonic's ever-expanding range of dies, has helped bring us to the forefront of paper crafting with some of the most detailed versatile dies available on the market. We have consistently expanded our knowledge of crafting products over the years to create the new brand Nuvo. Nuvo has now grown from a range of glitters to crystal drops, glitter drops, embellishment mousses, gilding flakes, glue pens, alcohol-based pens, embossing powders etc. Adding then Craft Perfect for a wide range of paper and card stock. We’re an arts charity that enables the curious and creative to make a positive impact in our communities. We specialise in co-developing projects involving local, national and international artists working with, and in response to briefs determined by, marginalised or disadvantaged communities across Milton Keynes. Videoclub
videoclub is an artists’ moving image and digital culture platform showing artists’ work across the UK and internationally. We support artists through curated programmes, engaging the public through screenings, exhibitions, talks, residencies and commissions. We work in collaboration to develop inventive, stimulating events and opportunities to show artists’ film and video. Working with small collectives to large institutions, we exhibit work in cinemas, festivals, museums, galleries, non-arts spaces and outdoors, presenting diverse work by early career to established artists. videoclub was established in 2005 by Laura Mousavi, Ben Rivers and Jamie Wyld. Since then we have shown work by over 250 artists, from early career artists to established, including Laure Prouvost, Semiconductor, Mark Titchner, Esther Johnson, Hetain Patel, Bureau of Inverse Technology, Sebastian Buerkner, Benedict Drew, Naheed Raza, Ellen Pau, David Blandy, Rachel Maclean and Wong Ping. We have collaborated with various institutions and organisations, to develop programmes, including Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network, A Wall is a Screen (Germany), Videotage (Hong Kong), Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (UK), and Seattle International Film Festival. Presenting work at venues such as Whitechapel Gallery (London, UK), ICA (London, UK), Nottingham Contemporary (UK), CCA Glasgow (UK), ATA (San Francisco, USA), Echo Park Film Center (LA, USA), Chronus Art Center (Shanghai, China) and Osage Gallery (Hong Kong).
