The Royal Docks Team

The Royal Docks Team is a joint initiative between the Mayor of London and Mayor of Newham. With overall responsibility for development, estate management and placemaking across the Royal Docks, the team are working with key development partners to regenerate this part of East London. Developer and business partnerships will facilitate new homes, activate underused or vacant commercial sites and create over new jobs. Additionally, the team will create a distinct and inclusive cultural offer developing a programme of activity that will promote the cultural and economic significance of the docks on a local, regional and international level. Once London’s gateway to the world, the east has once again begun its journey to re-emerge as a commercial and cultural hub of global significance.
