Sometimes when I have introduced myself as #TheLinkedInGuru I have jokingly said that GURU stands for "General Understanding, Relatively Useless". Well, I believe GURU stands for "Gets to Uncover the Real Usefulness" instead. Since I retired at the end of 2007, my focus has been volunteering and devoting my time to being a Professional Networker / LinkedIn Guru, teaching Networking and LinkedIn and I have trained thousands of professionals in how to maximize their networking skills and best utilize networking tools. Networking is the life-blood that feeds the process of building relationships. Networking is important in all aspects of our lives. I believe that LinkedIn is one of the best tools available to help you find the right people, connect with them and build long-term relationships. That's what I do and that's what I can help you do.
