Thermal Recycling
Thermal Recycling is now building, what we believe to be, the first plant in the world to use a commercially viable method for denaturing asbestos and recycling the waste. Up to tonnes can ultimately be treated at our current site. Our demonstration plant in Wolverhampton will have an initial capacity of tonnes and will be open in the summer of 2019. In the past asbestos has commonly been disposed of in landfill sites, this does not however resolve the problem of asbestos for future generations. Through thermal recycling however, we can now safely destroy asbestos fibres. The end product will be a completely safe, silica based aggregate with a variety of uses in construction.
