At THIRD SHAKE MEDIA, we help learning platform providers win and retain more institutional adoptions by seamlessly integrating compelling competitive experiences into their existing platforms. Winning in the SaaS learning space requires providers to deliver outcomes for their client institutions, including effectively enabling their client's learners to achieve mastery of subjects. Our belief is that students and learners are much more likely to achieve and sustain mastery of a subject when they are highly engaged, and more specifically. as part of a learning experience that is highly active, social, competitive, and fun. To do this, we utilize Arcadeum Solutions' proprietary competitive quizzing engine to create competitive learning applications for students and learners. Our first app, ClashMates, is a free K-12 study game which uses social competition to challenge and engage students. Loaded with thousands of middle and high school AP-level questions, ClashMates provides a fun, low-stakes arena for students to compete within a variety of subjects in a player-vs-player (PvP) competition. Students can choose to challenge one of their friends or be match-made to go up against a random competitor, all of which enables them to earn higher levels, achievements, badges, in-game currency and leaderboard rankings. Using AP test prep as a proof-of-concept, the ClashMate's platform is now highly configurable and available as a SaaS offering to learning platform providers who seek to differentiate and amplify their current digital LMSs and learning curricula to create raving institutional fans.
