Thrive Study Abroad

Thrive believes that students who care about Israel and Jewish heritage should make Israel their semester abroad destination! We partner with Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University to offer a top notch academic experience that is fully transferable to universities around the world. In addition to the academic courses, our goal is to enable students to experience all facets of what makes Israel unique. Over a semester, Thrive students will develop a strong understanding, knowledge, opinion, and affinity for Israel and Judaism. Thrive is best described as a family! Staff works with the university madrichim to ensure that students are fully cared for and having the best semester of their lives! We work with each student to create ‘tailor-made’ programs for their interests. What do you get to do on Thrive, exactly? What don’t you get to do? Spend a day doing basic training and learning about the nuances of being in the army, enjoy a first-hand experience of life on a kibbutz, learn about Kabbalah in the mystical city of Tzfat, meet with Israeli politicians and understand the political system, sit in conference room with young entrepreneurs and discover Israel’s start-up culture, and much more! Students get to experience the cultural diversity within specific Jewish communities and within the broader Israel community.
