Trauma Informed Institute

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Charlotte, NC, Trauma-Informed Institute certifies leaders, managers, and team members as trauma-informed professionals. Our mission is to educate and implement trauma-informed approaches in the workplace. Our vision is to improve employee wellness and transform workplace culture. Beginning as a Trauma Informed Advocate and progressing to a Trauma Informed Executive Coach, our certifications help folks understand the science and needs of people who have witnessed or experienced trauma and burnout. We give practical tools to cope with the feelings related to those experiences and teach how to integrate those tools at home and in the workplace. We have served leaders, organizations’ teams, and families, raising awareness of trauma-informed approaches in the workplace and non-profit programs. We have trained over working professionals, helped secure and manage over $12 million, and directly served hundreds of families. Our work has expanded across many different sectors as well as other countries around the world. Trauma Informed Institute is a strong partner of BYE Foundation, a 501c3 organization committed to donating 10% of our annual profits.
