Trinity Woods - An Inter-Generational Community

Trinity Woods is a new intergenerational housing community at Mount Mary University formed by the three-way partnership between Mount Mary University, the School Sisters of Notre Dame and Milwaukee Catholic Home. In addition to hosting private residences for the retired School Sisters of Notre Dame, local seniors and undergraduate Mount Mary University single mothers and their children under the age of 12, Trinity Woods will also feature early childhood development facilities for up to 100 children and toddlers. All buildings will be fully interconnected by a Town Center that incorporates numerous spaces to bring people together in friendly conversation, dining, prayer, learning and socialization. The name Trinity Woods has a special significance and was chosen with thoughtful consideration. “Trinity” simultaneously reflects the Catholic/Christian faith and the three entities that are sponsoring this community. “Woods” reflects growth, wisdom, and the beautiful, wooded grounds which have prominence on the site.
