True Kids 1 believes that all students should have the ability to learn and benefit from media skills and opportunities. TK1 closes the gap for rural and underserved communities by providing media skills through in-person and virtual workshops, through a combination of TK1 expert staff and our roster of Media Mentors. Through these learning experiences, students have the opportunity to create community-based projects they’re passionate about, and then to take these skills into postsecondary education and the workforce itself.
