Tukanos is a language consultancy specializing in translation and interpreting services. Our objective is to provide a professional translation on time. We are here to help solve your language problems. We primarily work with both certified translations and normal translations to and from English, Spanish and Portuguese. We are also part of a global network of language professionals so we can offer help with other languages too. If we can’t do the work then we will put you in touch with someone who can. Get in touch and we will do our upmost to help you. Currently, the majority of translation agencies in Brazil hire Brazilians to carry out translations in a language which is not their own. What makes Tukanos unique is that all translations and interpreting services are done by native speakers, guaranteeing that the finished work stays true to the original text. In the case of other languages being translated to Portuguese we use highly skilled Brazilians to guarantee the quality of the final translation. Our translators also have a vast range of experience as interpreters and are accustomed to navigating through Brazilian bureaucracy. It was founded by Mister Colin, who was born in Scotland, so he is extremely familiar with the problems that foreigners can face in Brazil. Tukanos has helped with obtaining the necessary paperwork for permanent residency and to work in Brazil, as well as the issuing of other documents such as driving licences, marriage certificates, tax registration, naturalization and even the setting up of companies. Mister Colin has been called “the best translator in Brazil”, and has worked as a professional translator since 1992. We are located in Santo André, in the ABC region of São Paulo, but we work all over the city of São Paulo and also accept documents by email.
