UBT SRL (benefit company) is a biomedical company, founded in 2015 as an innovative startup. UBT develops and commercializes a portfolio of innovative medical imaging devices based on cutting-edge microwaves technology instead of dangerous ionizing radiation (X-Rays). UBT has so far developed the following patented products: – MammoWave (TRL 9): is a novel CE marked device for breast lesions detection. – BrainWave (TRL 6): is a novel device for brain stroke detection and classification. UBT is IS0 13485 certified and has successfully applied to many European calls, obtaining significant grants in the context of Horizon H2020 (SME Instrument Phase 1 and Phase 2, FETPROACT, MSCA, MISS-2021-CANCER).
