UNIMED is a pharmaceutical company incorporated in the year 1981. With more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, our primary business is focused in importing, marketing and distributing quality generic pharmaceutical finished formulations, nutraceutical, medical devices and various herbal & supplement products at a cost-effective option for our valued partners and customers. Our head office is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with approximately 250 employees including our dedicated sales force tirelessly working to make a lasting impact on our vision and mission. Additionally, our business and services operate in the Peninsular, East Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. In an effort to unfold our global footprint, our export expansion went beyond ASEAN, including Hong Kong, Yemen and Iraq. As a trusted pharmaceutical company, we take pride in representing some of the leading and premier international pharmaceutical manufacturers with state-of-the-art plant facilities which are approved by globally accredited regulatory agencies such as: US-FDA, UK-MHRA, TGA and WHO-GMP. We strive to stay aloft to facilitate for the domestic market demands and needs. In 2008 we managed to acquire KCK Pharmaceutical Industries Sdn Bhd which is located in Penang, Malaysia and operates with 300 employees of diverse expertise. The facility supplies quality products that span from oral liquids, oral solid, creams, and ointments to cater to government hospitals and GP clinics in Malaysia. With the intention of creating a sustainable supply chain management, UNIMED has initiated logistics and distribution hubs in Sarawak, Sabah and Kedah. Mission: To import niche pharmaceutical products and locally manufacture generics for regional and international markets in compliance with the Malaysian government’s policies. Vision: To provide a diversified product portfolio of high-quality niche generics and nutritional supplements that are cost-effective to our stakeholders.
