Utrecht Debating Society (UDS) is the leading student debating society in Utrecht. We are a constructive, inclusive, and fun community where students from all academic backgrounds come together to improve their public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation skills. Our weekly debate evenings are informal and engaging, often accompanied by snacks and drinks. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced speaker, you'll find a welcoming space to learn, grow, and discover debating as the hobby you never knew you wanted. We’re proud to be an international-friendly society, with members from diverse cultures and fields of study. In addition to our regular activities, UDS offers workshops on debating and public speaking for student associations, educational institutions, and other organizations.
