WE CREATE COHERENCE The Danish Road Directorate plans, constructs and maintains the Danish national roads. This means motorways, dual carriageways, a large part of the regional roads and many of the bridges across the country. A total of 3,800 kilometres. We ensure that road users arrive easily and safely. We do this by way of fast and correct traffic information and by clearing the roads after accidents and other incidents. We improve the national trunk network and we prepare analyses, preliminary investigations and reports about future projects for roads and bridges. The Danish Road Directorate is an agency under the Ministry of Transport. We have locations in Aalborg, Skanderborg, Middelfart, Copenhagen, Fløng and Næstved.
