Verity Fair

Verity Fair was formed in March 2013 as a non-profit in the state of Tennessee (U.S.A.). A short-hand way of describing the ministry is as an “evangelical fair trade organization”. Verity Fair will seek to connect Christian consumers (primarily in the United States) with Christian ministries (primarily in Asia, Africa and Latin America) through trade in handcrafts and certain agricultural products. The intended result is three-fold: • to see greater awareness and unity among believers within the global body of Christ; • to see the impoverished, the marginalized and the persecuted (many of whom are Christians) better able to work and support their families; and • to see local churches and ministries that serve among the poor, distressed and underprivileged more fully supported in their efforts to proclaim the gospel in word and deed. Verity Fair seeks to distinguish itself from other similarly-purposed organizations through the development of a robust distribution network that will stimulate a high level of awareness and demand among Christian consumers. Verity Fair also seeks to provide the consulting and training necessary for healthy growth and sustainability among the producers. More information will soon be available on our website:
