VIP, the Association of Val Venosta producers of fruit and vegetables, has been one of the most important agricultural cooperatives for the worldwide commercialization of apples since 1990. VIP has more than 1500 producers united in 7 member cooperatives in Val Venosta. Since September 2019, the Juval cooperative has been dedicated to organic products only and has thus become on of the most important and most modern processing plant for organic apples in Europe in terms of storage and packaging capacity. The Val Venosta production area covers a total area of hectares with an average production area of about 3 hectares per producer.
