We are Warrior Bags, a non-profit organization that provides cancer patients with tote bags and care packages to assist them in their fight! Warrior Bags was started by Lisa Manns after she was showered with gifts from friends and family during her battle with ovarian cancer. On June 10, 2017, Lisa Manns's life changed forever. She was visiting family in Michigan when she received the news that she had ovarian cancer. She underwent surgery that July and began chemotherapy treatment just two months later. Lisa's friends, Joan, Mandy, and Mary, decided that she was not going to fight this battle alone. They lavished her with gifts during her entire journey. Their first gift was a tote bag, which came right before her surgery. Then every time Lisa came home from her six overnight chemotherapy treatments in the hospital, there was a care package on her doorstep. God also overwhelmed Lisa with gifts from so many other people throughout her entire journey. Lisa feels it is her calling to do for others what others have done for her during her darkest valley. She believes she can take the very sword that Satan came at her with and use it for God's Kingdom. It is her passion and her mission. Four friends took the very disease that came for one of them and decided to use it to show God's love and encouragement to those battling cancer. It is their hope that a Warrior Bag, which is a tote bag filled with various gifts, reminds those battling cancer that although this is their personal fight, they are not alone, nor have they been forgotten.
