The Women's Activities and Self Help House (WASH House) is a women's community resource centre that provides women with access to information and referral services, counselling and case management and a wide number of groups for health and wellbeing. Our Services: Staying Home Leaving Violence - Case management and support for women escaping Domestic Violence Crisis Counselling - For women in the local area Specialist Casework - for women requiring information, referral, advocacy and ongoing support Better Bet 4 Blacktown - working with the community to reduce gambling harm Community Development - Community events, communications, advocacy, campaigning and partnerships to strengthen the community for the benefit of women and their families Group work - activities for social inclusion, health and wellbeing, skills development, parenting support and personal development. The WASH House aims to improve the quality of life of women and their children by reducing the impact of poverty, social disadvantage and violence.
