Weaver Foundation

Weaver Foundation makes grants and investments in organizations that operate in and serve the greater Greensboro, NC area; the Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications. The Weaver Foundation was formed in 1967 as a private family foundation. The Foundation is focused on two goals:(1) helping the Greater Greensboro area community enhance and improve the quality of life and the economic environment of its citizens and (2) involving current and future generations of the Weaver family in developing a sense of philanthropy and service. The mission of the Weaver Foundation is to help the Greater Greensboro community enhance and improve the quality of life and the economic environment for its citizens. The Foundation supports a variety of organizations and does not have one particular area of focus but generally supports programs that benefit; youth, education, racial tolerance and diversity, efforts to reduce poverty and improve the lives of the disadvantaged, and economic development.
