At the same time, we face a shortage of providers—and the traditional pipeline takes 10 years or more to train a single clinician. We don’t have that kind of time. Welfie Academy is building the new workforce now. We train high school students to become the next wave of mental health providers—Community Health Workers, Peer Support Specialists, and Wellness Coaches—in 1–4 years, not 10. AI-Powered Training: Students learn with AI Tutors, practice with AI Patients, and master future-of-work tools with AI Agents. From Classrooms to Careers: Pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships inside schools create a direct path from K–12 to credentials. Built by and for Youth: AI Patients are co-created with students and validated by doctors—making training authentic, engaging, and clinically accurate.
