I am a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, artist, and entrepreneur. I completed my training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore where I volunteered at the Zeta Healthy Aging Partnership, educating the community about heart health. I obtained my medical doctorate from Michigan State University where I was accepted into the Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved program where we focused on delivering health resources to rural, urban and international communities in need. Delivering health to those that need it most. This my definition of Health Equity. And since the day I decided to become a physician, in grade 7. This has been the constant drum beat in my professional and personal life. This the focus of Welfie, a community health platform delivering health equity to families.
