Wellpower is the creation of Tom Bonow and Penny Plautz. The company has been in business since 1997, presenting leadership, motivation, and trainings on work/life issues to workplaces and communities. In addition to conducting a wide variety of workshops and seminars, Wellpower offers executive and team coaching and consulting services. Tom Bonow is a speaker, facilitator and executive coach specializing in work/life integration, communication, stress management, and personal effectiveness. He earned his B.A. in Sociology at Gettsyburg College, and he holds a Masters Level certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Tom serves on local charity boards and is an active community volunteer. Tom left a successful 25-year career as the regional sales director for a the world’s largest corporate insurance broker to partner with his clients in creating empowering and productive workplaces. Penny Plautz is an ACE-Certified Instructor and Certifiied Eating Psychology Coach. She is the author of Body Confidence, Read It & Leap, and Wellness Works, and her blog, Midlife MacGyver, reaches thousands of subscribers. She serves on the faculty of Clinton County Community College in Iowa, and she has managed sports clubs in Texas and New Mexico. Penny was previously a faculty member at Santa Fe Community College after receiving her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa. Penny and Tom’s high energy and great sense of humor make their workshops memorable, relevant and fun! We work with organizations and communities, both large and small, that are invested in their people.
