The granting of an A-League Licence in 2018 was the catalyst for the establishment of a first of its kind Public Private Partnership with Wyndham City Council (WCC). The joint vision of WMG and WCC for this is to develop a unique sports, living and events driven precinct that hosts a thriving commercial CBD, residential lifestyle suburb and elite sports facilities in Melbourne's premier growth area.
