The Bronx has over a million residents, but no bookstore for children. Our borough’s kids deserve the best books and highest quality literary programming - Wilde plans to do all that and more. Wilde, Flowers & Books focuses on providing curated book selections that represents the diversity, languages, and spirit of The Bronx. Our goal is to unlock the equity gaps surrounding literacy, such as lack of access to book ownership, eyecare and free glasses, and safe green spaces to enjoy and read in. Wilde will be a space for the whole family to gather and enjoy books and nature.
