William Berkele Distillery

Our immigrant entrepreneur was William Berkele, who started distilling whiskey in the 1860’s and made a name for himself supplying goods to Camp Nelson during the civil war. We’re breathing new life into Berkele’s vision by reviving his once-thriving distillery and producing a line of premium bourbon brands. Having acquired trademark rights to the William Berkele name, as well as securing the site of the original Burnt Tavern in Bryantsville, Kentucky, we plan to launch our first release, Burnt Tavern Bourbon. This bold, super premium bourbon will serve as an introduction to our distillery and guiding vision, honoring the spirit of this land and Kentucky Bourbon of unparalleled quality.
