Windward Engineering Ltd

Windward Engineering is a company registered in England whose business mission is harnessing low density natural power and converting it into electricity. The company has developed a novel form of horizontal axis wind turbine ("HAWT") which is configured specifically to capture low energy wind. A patent application is pending with the EPO and the USPTO. Further intellectual property will be filed in future. The design is modular and easily maintained. Advantageously, the wind turbine is configured to be part of the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling continuous feedback, relating wind-speed to generative capacity and providing continuous monitoring of turbine performance. A novel business model is under development to enable early and swift market penetration.
