Write Advice Editing

Write Advice Editing is an online editing and consulting business based in Austin, Texas. My name is Katie, and I started this business because I love the writing process–from brainstorming to making final revisions, there’s something magical about producing words that will endure. As a (large) part of that process, I enjoy editing and coaching others in editing, writing, and speaking skills. I have a degree in telecommunication media studies from Texas A&M University, and I have three years of Writing Center experience, during which time I encountered students from all walks of life and writing from a vast array of disciplines. I am a Master Certified Tutor (the highest level) through the College Reading and Learning Association’s International Tutor Training Program. I am also a certified teacher through the state of Texas, and have spent time teaching both English and math in the public school system. I have extensive experience with diverse facets of academic and non-academic writing, including technical writing, business writing, and creative writing. I have worked with writers on everything from novels to aerospace engineering dissertations.
