Yebo Life

The Beginning: Yebo Life was started in 2014 by Tony and Julie Barwick, a South African-American couple. The organization was registered as an NPO in South Africa in February 2015. The Mission: Our mission is to empower locals, who have been given a vision for ministry, to rise up to their namesakes and to have impact in their communities. The Name:"Yebo"(pronounced yeh-beau) means "yes" in many African tribal languages. It's also used as an informal greeting among friends and community members. Our Ministry Partners: Yebo Life supports its ministry partners through financial, resource, and volunteer assistance. Each ministry and organization we partner with is operated by locals who are reaching out to the people in their own communities. Our partners are all rooted in Jesus Christ, have a heart to impact children, and have a real need for support.
