Ymca Camp Kanata

Camp Kanata is a 150-acre, co-ed Overnight and Day Camp located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Surrounded by nature, Camp Kanata feels miles away, but is only a short distance from Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. At Camp Kanata, our staff is a group of highly passionate young leaders with a team-oriented mindset. As a counselor, you have the chance to make a lasting impact on children by creating a fun, safe environment for them to thrive. We offer trainings that give our staff a wealth of information and knowledge for a variety of situations. Our goal is to provide a work space that allows for our staff to grow personally and professionally and take away valuable skills for future work endeavors while enhancing the experience of campers.
